FUNDRAISING FOR WORLD JEWISH RELIEF

We are fundraising for World Jewish Relief, The British Jewish community's international humanitarian agency, who help people predominantly in Eastern Europe combat poverty and find jobs for people in need. World Jewish Relief also works beyond the community, responding to global humanitarian crises. World Jewish Relief organised the Kindertransport in 1938/39.

My great grandparents came from Moldova in Romania and my mum was going on a fundraising trip wth World Jewish Relief there and had raised quite a lot of money, but then found out she had a baby in her tummy (me!) and couldn't go.

Two years ago we raised £535.50 from our jam sales, but the year after we didn't have enough apples. This year we're helping to raise more money to support World Jewish Relief.
